NCLEX-RN & NCLEX-PN usa Exam Application

The National Council Licensure Examination, or NCLEX, is a nationwide examination for nurses who intend to become licensed practitioners in the United States, Australia, and Canada. The NCLEX exams are developed and owned by the National Council of State Boards of Nursing, Inc., or NCSBN.

There are two types of NCLEX exams: the NCLEX-RN for prospective registered nurses and the NCLEX-PN for future practical nurses. The examinations are administered in person at various NCLEX International Test Centers worldwide. In addition, each nurse is required to pass their prospective examinations to earn their licensure and legally practice nursing in the United States.

IPASS Frequently Asked Questions

What is CGFNS?

The Commission on Graduates of Foreign Nursing Schools (CGFNS) is an independent, immigration-neutral non-profit organization and one of the requirements for NCLEX that assists foreign-educated healthcare professionals by evaluating and validating their academic and professional credentials in order to receive the eligibility approval.

Three components make up the program: a review of the nurseโ€™s credentials, including their education, registration, and licensure; the CGFNS Qualifying Exam, a one-day qualifying exam that tests their nursing knowledge; and an English language proficiency test. If you are looking for a smooth sailing and hassle-free licensure exam application? Choose IPASS; we offer high quality, fast, reliable, and simultaneous processing with budget-friendly fees.

What is NURSYS?

Nursys is the only national database verifying nurse licensure, discipline, and practice privileges for all states in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC), RNs, and LPN/VNs, including APRNs licensed in participating jurisdictions.

How do Compact States Work?

You can submit an application for a license through endorsement in a compact state if you reside in a noncompact state. Your eligibility will be limited to a single state license valid only in that state. You are allowed to have an unlimited number of single-state licenses if you live in a noncompact state.
