Behind the USA and the UK, Australia is currently the third most popular destination for international students in the English-speaking world. Because of its multiculturalism, friendly natives, and one of the best higher education systems globally, it continues to attract lots of international students.

Many international students may find Australian cities to be safe. In addition, Australia’s cities, such as Sydney, Brisbane, Canberra, Adelaide, and Perth, have been ranked among the top 50 in terms of cost of living and healthcare facilities.
Studying abroad can be intimidating, but the benefits of education and personal development can be massive. Top universities, incredible nature, vibrant cities, and multiple oceans are just a few reasons many international students choose Australia to study.

Acquiring a student visa in Australia is more accessible compared to other countries. However, students who want to study in Australia must meet specific requirements to obtain a visa.

The benefits of studying in Australia include the development of interpersonal skills, problem-solving abilities, leadership, and humanity, all of which help students develop and grow.

Foreign candidates dreaming of studying at Australian universities require a student visa given by the Department of Home Affairs. The candidate must meet the following criteria when applying for an Australia Student Visa regardless of their country of origin.

Submission of Prerequisites

The documents should be in a digital format and be uploaded online. So, it is good to have access to a scanner when you make the application to scan everything in advance. All documents should be translated to English by a certified translator. You can save your application and continue later if you miss some documents.
Once all the necessary documents have been completed and determined, the candidate is qualified to proceed with the school enrollment application process.

School Enrollment

The candidate must be enrolled in an Australian school before applying for a student visa in Australia. The school will issue the candidate a Confirmation of Enrolment, or CoE, when a candidate has received the offer letter from the school, accepted the offer in writing, and paid their tuition deposit.
To start your visa application, you’ll need this paperwork. If a candidate plans to enroll in multiple programs, such as a preparatory language course followed by college studies, a candidate will require one CoE for each program.

Visa Application

All international students must apply for the Subclass 500 student visa in Australia. The candidate must first secure the CoE, or an offer from an Australian institution for CRICOS registered course. In addition, the candidate is required to have a biometric in the Australian embassy.
Note: Additional documentation may be required depending on where you apply and plan to study during your visa application.

Student Visa Approval

The candidate will be notified via email with their Visa Grant number, the date of expiry of the candidate’s visa, and the condition associated with their visa if the application is successful and granted. The candidate can then schedule a trip to Australia approximately ninety (90) days before the start of their class.
Note: Additional documentation may be required depending on where you apply and plan to study during your visa application.
