With the current shortage of nurses, becoming a registered nurse is a dream for thousands across the Philippines. The journey, however, is challenging, a culminating test of a student’s years of dedicated study and clinical training. On May 14, 2024, the PRC released the results of the May NLE, with 7,749 of 11,116 examinees passing. For the newest batch of registered nurses, the PNLE results mark the end of one chapter and the beginning of another.
Their success does not belong to them alone but also honors their families, schools, and the nursing profession. With this achievement, they become the latest standard-bearers of a noble calling.
